Sept. 16, 2001  Everyone remembers Shane as being smart, athletic and passionate. He was a fun guy for everyone to hang out with and determined to succeed as "pain is only weakness leaving the body". He was going to the University of Wyoming for mechanical engineering on a scholarship. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, ROTC, the UW cross country team and Douglas Fire Department. The DHS wrestling invitational is now the "Shane Shatto Memorial". June 6, 2000
 Chad was very outgoing, adventurous, fun loving and very giving. He overcame open heart surgery and was very motivated to experience "life to its fullest with no regrets". Chad was an avid BMX racer, a talented artist and enjoyed extreme sports. He planned to attend Black Hills State University on a scholarship to pursue a career within business, communications, audio technology and art. There is now a skate park in Douglas dedicated to "Keep Chad's spirit in the community"

Nicole Marie Graham
I think we all remember Nicole as the sweet and outgoing 8th grader with pretty, long hair and a big smile. She was a fun-loving girl who loved horses, good country music, and hanging out with her many friends.
